So yesterday we checked out Thuan Loi Restaurant, which serves Vietnamese food in South Yarmouth, at 1300 Main Street (Route 28). It's a tiny place (six tables), but surprisingly light and airy inside. The ceiling is very high and the walls painted white and decorated with (I assume) Vietnamese totchkes.

Not very far away is an old gristmill with a herring run. At this time of year you can see herring (also known as alewives) and each year, they return to the freshwater in which they were born to spawn. So here's pictures,

Bitch Magazine came with a mediocre article about Second Life. I think the author read a lot of articles on Second Life, said to herself, “Oh this is hot, I should write my own article on Second Life…”. No real feeling for multi-player environments or Second Life.

My employer paid out bonuses this year and I have to say, they were pretty good. After taxes, my bonus equals a little under three weeks of my take-home pay, which I'm quite happy with.

Happy to report we survived the remnants of Hurricane Noel. We lost power at 4pm last night and got it back 4am this morning. (Thirteen hours with the time change.)
